Longmores are pleased to announce that they are the joint sponsors of Hertfest.
Hertfest is a festival of Hertford – a week to celebrate the town and its people. It is happening from Monday 30 July to Sunday 5 August
During this week many of the churches of Hertford, Young Life and Future Hope will join together for the common purpose of serving the community.
The aim of Hertfest is to develop the feel of community in and around Hertford, by bringing people together and working on things that detract from the feeling of community.
It's a week of community events and projects organised by the Churches in Hertford to benefit and serve the people of Hertford. As part of celebrating the community Hertfest is launching Heroes of Hertford, a campaign to identify and acknowledge unsung local residents who have given prolonged and/or unselfish service to the community, to their neighbours or to those in need. Longmores will be sponsoring the Careers award.
The ceremony is being held in the evening at The Corn Exchange on Thursday 2nd August where the awards will be presented. Hosting the evening will be Peter Ruffles.
