Chambers & Partners has announced that Hertford & Harlow-based Longmores Solicitors are to be ranked in three practice areas – Employment, Litigation and Real Estate – in the Chambers UK 2018 Directory. In addition, five partners are recognised as ‘Leaders in their field’ – Anna Baptist and Tracey Dargan in Family/Matrimonial; Richard Gvero and Catrin Mills in Employment; and John Wiblin in Litigation.
This year Chambers & Partners are launching an additional directory – Chambers HNW – focusing on “Private Wealth Law”, encapsulating wills, trusts and tax planning for individuals and families. Longmores’ Private Client team are ranked in the inaugural edition whilst partner Richard Horwood is identified as a ‘Leader in their field’.
Joint Senior Partner at Longmores, Richard Gvero, said: "We are delighted that the firm continues to be recognized for the high standard of our legal work, and particularly that so many of us have achieved the ranking of ‘Leader in their field’ once again. This demonstrates that our commitment to providing first class specialist advice is valued by our clients and professional referrers, who are pleased to recommend our services to others time and time again. Entry into the directory is highly competitive and so our repeated recognition is especially pleasing.”
The Chambers UK Guide is a prestigious legal publication, recognised worldwide as a ‘guide for the world’s best lawyers.’
Every application to Chambers for recognition involves the in-depth consideration of a variety of cases worked on during the preceding year and consultation with 10 referees, who must be clients or referrers. Chambers then uses professional investigative researchers to rigorously interview applicants and referees.
