Longmores reaches new high in quest for compliance

Longmores Solicitors have achieved two noteworthy landmarks by successfully completing their recent assessment against the new version of the Lexcel accreditation, and at the same time attaining the Investors in People ‘Gold’ standard.

The firm underwent these assessments last week.  Lexcel is the Law Society’s standard for legal practice management and excellence in client care.  Compliance is assessed on an annual basis.  Despite a wide number of changes since 2014, Longmores passed with flying colours to retain the accreditation which the firm has held for 4 years.

Investors in People (IIP), is a management framework for high performance through people.  This prestigious accreditation is recognised around the world as a mark of excellence.  The firm has held the IIP accreditation since 1999, and is re-assessed every 3 years.  In 2012 Longmores aimed for and achieved Silver level.   This time the firm set out to achieve the coveted Gold level, a feat achieved by just 1% of all IIP accredited organisations.  Having succeeded, Longmores became only the second law firm in Hertfordshire to achieve the Gold standard.

Senior Partner at Longmores, Anna Baptist, said: “We are really pleased to retain our Lexcel accreditation, and absolutely delighted to have achieved the Investors in People Gold standard. Both of these provide recognition of our continuing commitment to high performance and excellence across the whole firm.”
