John graduated in 2006 with a law degree from the University of Southampton. He went on to gain his Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in London whilst working part-time as a court clerk for a North London firm of solicitors. John spent the intervening period working for a property development company before joining Longmores as a trainee solicitor in January 2009, and became a qualified solicitor in February 2011. Having practised property law for almost two years John joined the firm’s Commercial Litigation team to specialise in the field of property dispute resolution. Although he deals with a range of dispute work, John’s practice focuses on matters such as landlord and tenant disputes, restrictive covenant and easement disputes, possession proceedings, rent arrears claims, nuisance claims, boundary disputes, advising management companies and dealing with enfranchisement and lease extension claims under the statutory provisions.
